First and foremost, THANK YOU for visiting my website. I look forward to serving YOU as your next Apex Town Councilman. I hope you will take a look around my site to find out more about the campaign.
I'm a life long resident of Apex and have held various civic and governmental leadership roles in town. I will not let you down!
Several key issues:
- Promoting economic development within Apex
- Staying true to the spirit of our town's Unified Development Ordinance
- Maintaining low taxes and quality town services for all citizens
- Respecting property rights
- Working to fight unnecessary public school redistricting
- Preserving/adding additional open space and park land
- Reaching out to the citizenry for input
- Investing in our infrastructure that has recently been outpaced by development
- Fighting to make Apex's portion of the outer-loop (I-540) a reality as quickly as possible
- Maintaining excellent public safety services (As a Parks, Recreation and Cultural Resources Commissioner I've had several opportunities to work along side and ride-along with Apex Police so I know the difficult challenges they face)
Platform
Apex is a great place to live. It's a great place to raise a family. It's a great place to work, a great place to play. I want to make sure it stays that way!
If elected to represent you on the Apex Town Council I'll work diligently to do just that. I promise to be your accessible and accountable representative. There are two basic types of governing principles out there. Some people think they have all the answers and feel like they're owed the support of their constituents. Those are the same elected officials who don't seek out new ideas and seek outside input. I subscribe to a different political philosophy. I'll be in town hall ready to listen to you. Many of our greatest accomplishments as a town have come from citizen input.
